October 2024 marked a significant point for ICSP Vietnam, as our CEO, along with two key specialists, embarked on a special business trip to the Osaka branch of our parent company, ICS Partners. Located in the prime spot within the ultra-modern Grand Front building, this journey was not only an opportunity to enhance professional expertise but also a chance for the ICSP Vietnam team to deeply experience the work culture and vibrant pace of life in the Land of the Rising Sun.

Upon arriving in Osaka, the ICSP Vietnam team quickly immersed themselves in the serious and efficient workflow at ICS Partners. The core of the trip involved in-depth training sessions on project documentation and the latest frameworks being implemented by the parent company. These training sessions weren't just theoretical; they incorporated practical application exercises, enabling the Vietnamese specialists to immediately grasp and practice what they learned. Notably, the meticulousness and professionalism of the Japanese were evident in their work processes. After each day, the ICSP Vietnam team was required to detail specific requirements, followed by steps like releasing test results and demo versions. Any questions from the Vietnamese team were meticulously gathered and sent to the Japanese members for thorough clarification, ensuring that the entire team in Vietnam could later be comprehensively re-trained.

They consistently displayed friendliness, proactiveness, and professional demeanor, continually asking if the Vietnamese team had any questions and paying attention to even the smallest details, especially knowing that this was a business trip to an unfamiliar place where we didn't speak the language. Whenever the Vietnamese team needed help, assistance was readily and immediately available. Beyond dedicated work, ICS Partners also prioritizes fostering a balanced and dynamic work environment. Joint activities, such as group exercises, were organized, helping everyone relax before returning to team work. The work schedule was also flexible, with comfortable hours, encouraging autonomy and individual responsibility.

This dynamic city, where technology and tradition intertwine, provided unique experiences. In particular, the welcoming dinner for the Vietnamese delegation became an unforgettable memory. Glasses of sake and beer were raised amidst lively laughter and conversation, signifying a warm welcome from the parent company. This was more than just a meal; it was a bridge that forged camaraderie, allowing the ICSP Vietnam team to feel the warmth and friendliness of their Japanese colleagues.
